Our client, a leading retail business specializing in home furnishings, décor and lifestyle products, is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead the HR function and support a growing operational workforce.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead HR operations, policies and employee lifecycle management.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, performance management and employee development.
- Manage employee relations, disciplinary matters and grievance resolution.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and statutory requirements.
- Partner with management on workforce planning, engagement and retention.
- Maintain accurate HR records and provide HR reports and insights.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration or a related field.
- 5+ years’ progressive HR experience, preferably in retail, FMCG or a fast-paced operational environment.
- Professional HR qualification such as CHRP is an added advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Kenyan employment law and employee relations.
- Proven experience in performance management, recruitment and HR operations.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and provide practical, business-focused HR solutions.
