We are seeking a highly organized and analytical Supply Chain Officer to support end-to-end supply chain operations by ensuring the efficient planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics coordination, and timely delivery of raw materials and finished goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate end-to-end supply chain activities, including procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and distribution, to ensure uninterrupted business operations.
- Monitor inventory levels, forecast stock requirements, and coordinate replenishment to maintain optimal inventory while minimizing stock-outs and excess stock.
- Liaise with suppliers to manage purchase orders, monitor deliveries, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure timely availability of raw materials, packaging materials, and other supplies.
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, ensuring timely dispatch and delivery of goods while optimizing transportation costs and service levels.
- Conduct inventory reconciliations, investigate stock variances, and maintain accurate inventory records across all locations.
- Analyze supply chain data and prepare reports on inventory, procurement, supplier performance, logistics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to support informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with Procurement, Production, Finance, Sales, and Warehouse teams to align supply chain activities with production schedules and customer demand.
- Identify opportunities to improve supply chain efficiency, reduce operational costs, streamline processes, and strengthen supplier relationships.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and supporting internal and external audits.
- Perform any other supply chain and logistics duties assigned by the supervisor.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement & Logistics, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years' experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or inventory management, preferably within an FMCG or manufacturing environment.
- Professional certification such as CIPS, KISM, CILT, or equivalent will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with ERP systems.
- Proven experience in demand planning, inventory management, procurement, and logistics coordination.
