R&D Graduate Trainee

Position: Graduate Trainee – Research & Development (R&D)

Job Summary:

The Graduate Trainee – R&D will support the Research and Development team in product formulation, trials, and process improvement initiatives. The role provides hands-on exposure to food product development, ingredient sourcing, and laboratory analysis, offering a solid foundation for career growth within the food industry.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in conducting product development trials and experiments.
• Support documentation of formulations, test results, and process observations.
• Liaise with the Procurement and Production teams for ingredient sourcing and production trials.
• Participate in sensory evaluation sessions and quality testing.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and adhere to safety and hygiene protocols.
• Assist in data collection, analysis, and report preparation for ongoing R&D projects.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or any related field.
• 0–2 years of experience (including internships or industrial attachments).
• Strong foundation in food science principles and basic laboratory skills.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
